Le plastique compostable de chez soi devient une réalité !
La start-up auvergnate Carbiolice a développé un additif enzymatique qui, ajouté à la fabrication des emballages plastiques d’origine végétale permet de rendre ces derniers 100% compostables même en conditions domestiques !
Après 4 années de recherche et développement et grâce à la licence exclusive concédée par Carbios, Carbiolice a mis au point un additif, appelé Evanesto®.
Grâce à l’introduction de cet additif à base d’enzyme, au moment de la fabrication des plastiques à base de PLA*, les films d’emballage, les opercules, et bientôt les pots de yaourts… vont pouvoir se biodégrader intégralement dans les composts industriels ou domestiques.

The Auvergne-based start-up Carbiolice has developed an enzymated additive which, when added to the manufacture of plastic packaging of plant origin, makes it 100% compostable even in domestic conditions !
After 4 years of research and development and thanks to the exclusive license granted by Carbios, Carbiolice has developed an additive, called Evanesto®.
Thanks to the introduction of this enzyme-based additive, at the time of manufacture of PLA*- based plastics, packaging films, lids, and soon yoghurt pots… will be able to biodegrade completely in industrial or domestic
composts.
